Job Summary The Assistant Director will help develop and execute a recruitment and enrollment plan primarily utilizing medical and healthcare conferences as well as utilizing traditional recruitment vehicles for engaging physician and healthcare leaders for the Business of Medicine Physician MBA Program. This professional will also develop, coordinate and operate the monthly on-campus sessions and associated recruitment and co-curricular events aimed at fostering student, alumni and faculty engagement and connection. Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to, researching opportunities to develop, coordinate, and execute physician recruitment outreach. Plan and execute national conference attendance, represent the program onsite while meeting targets for generating leads, improving the program and school's visibility, and enhancing its reputation. Research strategies and develop, coordinate, and execute marketing communications to drive traffic to conference meetings and recruitment events including physical mailings, social media, digital communications, email, and print advertising. Manage and maintain budget requirements. Coordinate monthly on-campus sessions and associated co-curricular events along with developing and supporting alumni engagement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in events delivery, project management, or a related experience. Combinations of education and related experience may be considered. Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University. Understanding of a high-achieving graduate student population and how to effectively engage with these individuals as prospects, students, and alumni. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, excellent customer service orientation, nuanced interpersonal skills, and well-developed communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills under demanding time pressures. Ability to work effectively across a diverse group of people including students, faculty, administration, and external corporate personnel. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications MBA or a closely related master's degree in a field related to business career advising and professional development. Five years of experience and experience in higher education. Working Conditions / Demands Some evening and weekend hours are required for monthly sessions. Some travel required for staffing medical and healthcare conferences.
