The Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network (ORPRN) was established in 2002 at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. ORPRN is dedicated to improving the health of rural Oregonians through community-engaged dialogue, coaching, education and research. ORPRN facilitates a broad variety of clinical health care research, quality improvement projects, and practice transformation efforts in Oregon.
ORPRN is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive culture. We seek to incorporate diverse perspectives into our work and we value the richness that comes from different points of view.
The Senior Research Associate will build and train a qualitative team which will provide qualitative data collection, analysis, and dissemination support for a variety of implementation science projects. These projects include: studies focused on improving colorectal cancer screening (SMARTER CRC), exploring rural Veteran access to and experience of primary care (CARAVAN), increasing human papilloma virus vaccine rates in rural Oregon (RAVE), and implementing other evidence-based practices in primary care or community-based settings.
