Required Qualifications: - Minimum of a Master's degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering or a closely related area
- Prior experience in teaching classes at an institution of higher education
- Registered professional engineer (PE) or Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) with minimum of five years industry experience in the Heavy/Civil Construction area
Preferred Qualifications: - Expertise and ability to teach across a broad range of construction courses
- Evidence of teaching experience in professional training, seminars, peer-groups, and other coursework
- Evidence of teaching innovations that incorporate pedagogies of engagement, effective use of technology in the learning environment, and assessment techniques that include formative feedback
- Experience working with students, student clubs, and student competitions
- Familiarity with ACCE and/or ABET accreditation processes
