Position Summary/Description: PharmAlliance is a unique international partnership between three global leaders in pharmacy education, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Monash University, and University College London. PharmAlliance partners will work collaboratively to inspire and train tomorrow’s professional leaders and practitioners to transform education delivery and address major research challenges in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences. Innovative ideas that have the potential to impact institutions, the profession, and society that could not be pursued effectively by one institution alone will be collectively pursued by the PharmAlliance institutions. PharmAlliance members are also committed to making a difference through this collaborative effort to pursue complex problems in the field of pharmacy that address the needs of underserved and vulnerable populations. The PharmAlliance Program Coordinator, under direction of the Deans/Directors of PharmAlliance institutions, is expected to assume a variety of duties related to the execution and growth of PharmAlliance initiatives and events, educational models, and collaborations. PharmAlliance activities and initiatives include developing and expanding joint educational offerings (i.e. Masters Degrees), enhancing faculty research collaborations in key areas (i.e. global health, neuroscience, mental health, regulatory science, etc.), and maximizing student opportunities (i.e. exchange placements, networking, internships, etc.). The PharmAlliance Program Coordinator will oversee direction and directly contribute to progress of PharmAlliance strategic priorities and initiatives in education, practice, and research. Additionally, the PharmAlliance Program Coordinator is responsible for strengthening and growing collaboration opportunities and impact within the partnership. This position will participate in PharmAlliance activities and initiatives related to professional affairs and will represent the partnership internally and externally.
