Location: Hyde Park Campus Job Description: - Execution concepts, methodologies and approaches.
- Design, development and testing of  new equipment, instruments, reagents, and/or experimental protocols (including hardware, software, statistical methods, etc.).
- Establish collaborations with other researchers as appropriate.
- Supervise other research staff, when appropriate
- Prepare and write grant applications, progress reports, and administrative paperwork related to research activities.
- Prepare written and oral communications describing work toward accomplishing research objectives. This includes (co-)authored scientific research manuscripts.
- Serves as a resource for collecting data and performing analysis. Facilitates and promotes a research project by providing scientific or intellectual information.
- Develops laboratory protocols and training on new techniques. Manage, analyze and make recommendations on complex data sets for research.
- Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications Experience: Preferred Competencies Vitro electrophysiological approaches. Molecular and/or biochemical assays. Behavioral or physiological phenotyping in rodents. Strong communication skills.
