CORE COMPETENCIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES Job Technical Skills – Responsible for providing financial analysis and support in treasury management and enterprise risk management, including District Energy Corporation (DEC) and Nebraska Utility Corporation (NUCorp). Specific responsibilities include support of investment management, financial modeling, banking services, retirement plan analysis, property/casualty insurance, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Southwest Power Pool (SPP) credit compliance. Leads medium to large projects with minimal guidance. Consistent and reliable attendance is required. - Assists with the analysis of all property and general liability insurance policies and loss claims through periodic interactions with internal departments, insurance brokers, underwriters, and the city.
- Provides support for the Enterprise Risk Management Committee, including developing communications and activities.
- Assists with the review, update and completion of the Annual ERM Report for senior leadership, Administrative Board and appropriate board committees.
- Supports management of investment portfolios in accordance with each entity’s respective Investment Policy and Program, including the purchasing and selling of diverse investment products in management of liquidity needs.
- Assesses broker performance and makes recommendations to optimize investment performance.
- Assists with updating and implementing policies and procedures within assigned department regarding investments, insurance, cash management, etc.
- Assists with the selection, implementation, maintenance, procedure-writing and testing of enterprise software.
