In this role, you will work with the team of engineers, architects, technicians and sub-consultants on projects from the conceptual design through the necessary approvals and permitting required to deliver a successful project. Projects will range from the entertainment industry, industrial warehousing and processing, charter schools, and residential and retail sectors. The Grand Rapids office is in a state of growth and will be opening a brand-new office space in January. Our diverse customer base has kept us busy during the uncertainty of 2020 and there continue to be a variety of new and exciting projects. What you’ll get to do: - Independently manage multiple minor and medium scope projects
- Partner with senior staff on large scope projects
- Define project needs, set budgets and schedules, manage projects for profit
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects
- Lead the Design Engineer & Engineer Technician staff
- Have a variety of work including projects in industries such as entertainment, industrial warehousing and processing, charter schools, and residential and retail sectors.
