Uses Drupal to create pages, views and blocks, translates wireframes/mockups into responsive website pages for desktop/mobile/tablet; complies with 508 compliance and WCAG standards.
Organizes, designs, and posts web content on SEC.gov that meets statutory mandates applicable to SEC.gov.
Develops project plans and implements strategies to remediate web compliance issues and improve information architectures.
Serves as a project manager for remediating statutory deficiencies and improves information architecture.
Manages projects and communicates with stakeholders about web compliance issues. Coordinates with staff inside and outside of the Office of Public Affairs (OPA), manages project risks, and adheres to information security guidelines.
Maintains expertise in government website compliance laws and standards. Understands and remains current with web design and other mobile and online US government standards.
Serves as subject matter expert on statutory requirements that apply to a public-facing federal website. Provides technical expertise for the implementation and management of information architecture and taxonomy vocabularies for SEC.gov.
Reviews web metrics and makes design recommendations on ways to improve strategically important metrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: In addition to meeting the basic requirement, applicants must also meet the minimum qualification requirement.
SK-14: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/SK-13 level. Specialized experience includes all of the following:
Reviewing federal websites and applications for compliance with statutory mandates, developing project plans, policies, and procedures. Implementing strategies to remediate web compliance issues, including prioritizing deficiencies, tracking and managing risks, and communicating web compliance concepts to internal and external audiences;
Implementing government website compliance laws and standards, including The Open, Public, Electronic, and Necessary (OPEN) Government Data Act of 2018 (OPEN Government Data Act), The 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act (IDEA), Sec. 508 of The Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), information security guidelines, and other government requirements such as GSA's new U.S. Web Design System version 2.0 (USWDS 2.0); and
Developing and maintaining information architectures for government websites that improve site visitors' abilities to find information and complete tasks. Utilizing methods for collecting visitor feedback on site navigation and information architecture.
