The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Wholesale & MSS Risk Manager. Principle Responsibilities - The role holder will support the risk management of the Wholesale and Markets Securities Services business lines.
- The role holder is the key risk representative for the IBOR transition programme across the ASP entity. The role holder represents several risk stewards and faces off to multiple stakeholders in country, region and globally to ensure the transition is in progress and risk identified in a timely manner.
- The role holder will ensure delivery and embedding of risk management changes, carry out assessments of the programme and escalating key concerns and provide remediation support
- Completing analytical assessments and opining on the control environment of the First Line of Defence (1LOD) within Businesses and Regions
- Oversight of emerging risks, strategic business initiatives and local change activity and new/materially changed products
- Analysis of risk exposure to inform capital management and stress testing requirements
- Conduct thematic reviews to ensure that risk and control environment is commensurate with the scale and nature of operations
- Assesses compliance with Group policies and risk appetite
Requirements - Knowledge of the IBOR Transition programme and impact is highly advantageous
- Strong level of business management knowledge and experience of working in a senior role
- Demonstrable experience in both the commercial and technical aspects of digital services is advantageous
- Strong level of risk management knowledge and relevant experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the external environment (risk, regulatory, geopolitical, competitor etc)
- Senior management exposure and committee experience
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills (written & verbal)
