Participate in crafting the long-term strategy and operating model of the company
Assist in new market entry strategy development and execution planning for new market entry
Assisting in developing new partnerships and business opportunities, from initial prospecting to deal structuring and negotiations
Follow new technologies, innovative business models, regional market trends, and digital financial services trends to uncover and analyze new business opportunities that may arise
Assisting in the equity and debt capital raise process
Partner with the business development lead to develop corporate brand awareness
Partner with the in-country operating entity's strategy team to assist in specific strategic projects such as accelerating customer adoption, enhancing marketing, analyzing data to understand unit economics
Assist in developing our longer-term data and ecosystem strategy
Key Requirements:
Graduate degree in a related discipline (including but not limited to MBA) is a plus
5 to 8 years of working experience in strategy, business or product development, capital raising, venture capital or management consulting
Industry sector experience in digital services, digital marketplaces, digital superapps, digital (and/or retail ecosystems), digital retail or related financial technology sectors is a strong plus
Experience in emerging markets is a strong plus
Strong ability to model financial and business logic, and analyse situations quantitatively
Ability to traverse multiple domains of general management, ranging from corporate finance to business strategy, to marketing and operations.
