Our Business Transformation team partners with our clients to enable, lead, and manage various transaction activities, providing an optimized roadmap and resource plan to efficiently transition from the due diligence phase through post transaction optimization. We have deep expertise in preparing public and private company financial statements while also managing and implementing changes to financial reporting and operational processes, operating models, systems, and controls to aid an organization in realizing the transactions objectives. Responsibilities - Partner with our clients to create, develop, plan, and execute effective and consensus-driven transaction strategies to include: program and change management, organizational wide operational readiness and target operating model design, and post transaction optimization roadmaps.
- Manage projects through creating, coordinating, and maintaining an integrated project plan and tracking templates as well as ability to select and utilize different project management methodologies and tools
- Lead projects across the project lifecycle from current state assessments, gap analysis, controls and risk assessments, target operating model design, and operational readiness across the organizational, process, technology, policy and data dimensions
- Create visually pleasing, client ready presentations and project status updates using Microsoft PowerPoint
- Participate in firm-wide committees and internal initiatives such as thought leadership, industry forums, recruiting, sales/business development, marketing, training, and organizational development
- Act as role model, supervisor, coach, and mentor to Consultants and Senior Consultants, both on projects and within coaching families
Travel - Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%
Required Experience & Qualifications - 8+ years of relevant experience advising organizations through complex operational and finance transformation, including experience supporting transactions as a result of, or in preparation for, one or more of the following areas: mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, IPO
- Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large, global accounting firm or with a management consulting firm
- Project management experience, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Desired Experience & Qualifications - Knowledgeable of leading practices in the CFO/CAO/Controllership organizations as well as current market trends that may be impacting the finance group
- Demonstrated track record of establishing credibility both internally and externally
- Passionate about building, developing, motivating, and leading others
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a "big picture" perspective
- Creativity, confidence, and flexibility
- High energy, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit
Education - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or other technical discipline
