As a member of Transformation Architecture team, you will be responsible for delivering solution designs and architectures for key bank-wide modernization initiatives using digital core design principles and emerging technologies.
Job Description
Conceptualise, design and recommend solutions to drive bank-wide architecture modernisation for legacy platforms such as core banking, customer information, payment
Proactively assess architecture landscape to identify key gaps/challenges, prioritise opportunities to modernise and recommend target architectures including modernization strategies and approaches
Promote bank-wide usage of emerging technologies and cloud native architecture value proposition through constant engagement with business and delivery teams
Continually validate the digital transformation roadmap and architecture design feasibility through constant engagement with business and delivery teams
Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) to test & learn emerging technology solutions to manage downside risks and encourage fast adoption
Keep abreast with market and introduce emerging technologies and solutions to business
Overall architect to deliver the business capability ensuring architecture principles are adhered to, design review and define tech stack

Qualifications
Deep expertise in core banking/legacy platforms architecture modernisation (including techniques, tools, and approaches)
Have a background in consulting, digital architecture, emerging technologies, or a unique combination of these discipline
Preferably 3 years of experience in cloud native architecture (micro-services, messaging etc.)
Advocate of emerging technologies and an expert in conceptualising highly complex yet digitally innovative solutions as part of bank-wide technology architecture transformation
Deep understanding of emerging technology trends and market needs
Experience in Financial Services with a focus on enterprise architecture
Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
Must be a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented
Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
Good experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams.
