We're embarking on a major programme of work across our websites; and to achieve our goals we need a content designer who understands both content and digital to help us achieve our ambitions. You know not only content, but will have experience working with UX designers, content creators and content authors to help shape content to fit our new website templates. From taxonomy to tagging, from H1 to SEO, Page Title and more - you know how to structure content in the right way, making it effective and also efficient to get loaded into our Digital Experience Platform, powered by Adobe.

Key Responsibilities for this role:
Work closely with the Product Owners and Author Leads to determine content models and appropriate content delivery paths
Work closely with your cross functional team enabling them to operate efficiently through clear and timely decision making on scope
Responsible for leading the design of content across the experience platform, and using best practice to determine design models
Responsible for ensuring the content design solution is appropriately tested with users and authors
Ability to positively promote the work of the team
Contribute to the development of our product management approach increasing the awareness of the capability across the business
To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
You have experience working across content experience platforms
You will be adept at communicating information in the best way possible
You have been part of a team managing a successful external or internal facing software product
You have experience with the end to end product management lifecycle for across web and mobile
You are obsessed with attention to detail and making sure your solutions meet genuine customer problems
You are comfortable working with a technical team
You are comfortable working with providing direction where ambiguity exists
You are comfortable challenging and being challenged on your views in a collaborative manners
You have a track record of quickly establishing yourself within a new industry to understand the needs of users and the opportunities to meet these
You understand how to measure the success of a digital product and how new functionality will make an impact.
You have sufficient technical knowledge in how content shapes content experience
You have experience of a range of agile development methodologies and tool
