The Role Responsibilities
You'll be directly involved in the definition of the venture's digital strategy such as the full stack can support the growth of the company globally. You'll also have to build a strong modular architecture to accompany the launch of new services and businesses leveraging the existing information assets.
You'll also be part of working groups made of stakeholders from various horizons (internal and external) to have a fair understanding of the vision of the venture strategy as well as to be able to follow market trends and industry initiatives well-ahead of the realisation.
This Full Stack Architect is responsible for architecting/designing distributed, highly scalable / elastic architectures, micro-service and digital platforms from the ground up . This role involves working closely with the Development Head to realise the strategic vision. The architect should be hands-on and play a key role into advising how development teams are organised, to ensure that technical governance is in place. This role also involves validating solutions and working closely with the technical design authorities.
The architect helps the head Development define the technical governance in line with the CIO strategy. He develops the controls along the SDLC such as Development Office delivers applications satisfying the quality criteria required by the regulator, as per requested by Compliance and Risk Teams
The architect also designs the applications such as to support R&D programs and PoCs as defined by the CTO. New technologies & practices will then be integrated into the venture's assets following productization programs.
Creating applications from ground-up: applications including but not restricted to web apps, mobile apps, java apps, integrated with components/services built by third-party providers. Hands on development, ready to investigate and dig in to the code and get an holistic and intimate understanding of the applications.
Working in a highly collaborative way in a dynamic environment
The Venture being launch in a highly regulated whilst fast moving environment, the role consists in conjugating latest technologies with state of the art standards and policies to deliver highly available, scalable and reliable secured applications. All technologies must be delivered following strict Release and Change Management process having been fluidified by DevOps practice. The Full Stack Architect also works closely with the DevOps Team that all development and integrated software are swiftly released in an automated manner to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
Ensure a robust Risk & Control environment through establishing strong pan-channel security and controls and maintaining close engagement with Audit. This includes identifying key risks, issues and interdependencies ensure mitigants are in place. In addition, contribute towards positively positioning the Group with regulators.
Adhere to assessing the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
Maintain awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Proven track record as a technical/application architect, with designing/building full-stack distributed, scalable, cloud-based solutions
Self-starter hands-on, with a can-do attitude
Work under pressure and deliver on multiple deadlines

Core/enterprise/cloud design patterns
8+ years Java 8 and above
