Act as Workday Product Owner to deliver the Workday strategy and roadmap;
Manage and deliver HRIS projects that support the overall HR and HRIS strategies;
Ensure HRIS governance approach and change control process framework are fully embedded in the new ways of working;
Develop and maintain global data governance of HR master data and supporting business processes; provide oversight to ensure proper protocols are in place that govern data quality;
Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors (including onboarding of new vendors, regular reviews of costs and tracks service credits and business KPIs, negotiate contracts and commercials T&Cs when required and understand vendors roadmaps and product developments);
Manage the bi-yearly releases (including preview activities and functional impact assessment analysis, gather functional requirements, agree on features to include in the release, support testing and change activities, as required);
Provide oversight to the end-user's support; provide clarity to the HRIS team to ensure that requests are assessed, prioritised, planned and executed; ensures that incident resolution is delivered, including communication to end-users and any update to documentation required);
Work closely with HR functional leads, HR Business Partners and People Services to gather business requirements and/or improvement or optimisation recommendations for Workday on a regular basis;
Work closely with Talent/ Training team to ensure ongoing maintenance of end-user's support materials (including users guides and training) and to create regular adoption support interventions to find new ways of engaging with the Workday users' community;
Ensure that HR and the Business are trained to run reports and dashboards directly from Workday; ensure that end-users are upskilled and equipped to analyse and interpret people data to drive business decision-making;
Streamline end-to-end processes; transformation agent responsible for ensuring the continued improvement of HR service delivery; directs change management initiatives by developing awareness, understanding, ownership, and accountability for change;
Manage HRIS budgets, ensuring that budget constraints are met;
Evaluate new HR tools or platforms that would enhance the existing HR technology landscape to improve the overall employee experience;
Inspire and lead the HRIS team; provide coaching, mentoring and development; manage day to day performance;
Build and cultivate stakeholder relationships with the ability to keep them engaged, responsible and dedicated in working toward deliverable goals and objectives.
Led 1-2 complex global Workday deployments, including design and implementation across Core HR, Absence Management, Recruitment, and Performance Management.
Experience of implementing Workforce Planning and Advanced Compensation is desirable but not essential.
Experience building HRIS roadmaps that align to global HR priorities.
Experienced in release management, vendor management, governance, contract renewal, cost controls and end-user support.
Has deep knowledge of the product and marketplace standards. Can provide insights on Workday business process leading practice.
Project management experience, preferably in an HR systems/payroll environment, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage complex, potentially long-term projects.
Experience of having supported M&A integration is desirable but not critical.
Team player and experienced in managing and developing an HRIS team.
Deep functional expertise of HR (from a user stand-point – e.g. end-to-end HR processes), to complement Workday systems knowledge.
Experience of having implemented enabling technologies (e.g. document management, case management, knowledge management) is desirable.
