The selected Pharmacy Interns will support St. Vincent Healthcare and have the opportunity to gain experience in both inpatient and outpatient departments.   We are offering training and flexible work hours.

Your day.

As a Pharmacy Intern you need to know how to:

• Assist the pharmacist in all phases of drug distribution and monitoring. Fill orders and manage inventories for floor stock. Refill, exchange, charge, and credit medications.
• Fill orders and refill and stock medications for all departments and affiliates, including management of automatic dispensing units when assigned.
• Support the clinical functions of the department by assisting the pharmacist in retrieving data, screening profiles and doing calculations.
• Serve as a back up to other support positions. Complete assignments designed to complement the academic learning requirements of pharmacy licensure and practice.

Your experience.

• Current enrollment in ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy
• Completion of first professional year of pharmacy school
• Current Montana Pharmacy Intern Registrations
• Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service oriented environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team
