LFK Architects is seeking an experienced energetic Intern Architect who wants to be an integral part of a leading Charleston area firm. LFK Architects is a Commercial & Residential based Design Studio best defined by our commitment to serve our clientele through a strong charrette oriented design process.
Primary responsibilities include: production support and design development of project concepts into final construction documents including general project management, drafting and coordination with project consultants (Engineers & Contractors). Production must be executed within designated project schedules and submittal deadlines. Individual and team based production is required with accountability to the Project Architect.
Secondary responsibilities include: As-built documentation, general code research, jurisdictional code research, assistance with meeting & presentations and distribution of drawings/plots.
This position will allow the candidate experience in all aspects of design, from conceptual through construction administration.
Ability to communicate with clients
2d drafting (Cad/Revit)
Transportation to meetings required
3d drafting (Cad/Revit/sketch up)
