Program Manager Qualifications  

  • Preference is for candidates to have been a member of DoD’s acquisition workforce and completed the DAWIA certifications listed below. 
  • Minimum of 8 years providing advisory and assistance support of contracting, acquisition or program management roles within DoD.   Must have contracting, program and/or acquisition management experience expertly performing pre-and post-award activities.  Focus is on being able to implement a 7 Step Service Acquisition process that complies with DoDI 5000.74 and AFI 63-138.


  •  
  • Security Clearance: Current SECRET Security Clearance.    
  • Education: A master’s degree or a bachelor's degree and five (5) years of additional experience.  
  • Certifications: Minimally, must have at least one of the certifications listed below.  Preference is to have at least two of the following: 
  •  DAWIA Level II in Program Management or a DAWIA Level III certification in any acquisition function.

     
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or a Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) by the Project Management Institute.
