Who we’re looking for Toyota Motor North America’s (the “Company”) Internal Audit department is looking for a qualified and responsible Senior Analyst - IT Auditor. Reporting to the Sr. Manager IT Audit, this position will support the Internal Audit Department and the Company by performing audits and assignments across the enterprise. This position is responsible for the execution and delivery of audit assignments to ensure that business and technology risks are anticipated, identified, evaluated, and appropriately managed in alignment with the annual audit plan. Responsibilities include the development of audit programs, review and analysis of evidence, documentation of test procedures, and reporting of results, issues, and cost-effective recommendations for corrective actions. This position will partner closely with IT and business managers to provide audit and advisory services to effectively identify and address significant IT/Cyber risks to the Company. The performance of audits and related work will follow IA Standard Operating Procedures and maintain compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards. What you’ll be doing - Lead the performance of large and complex IT audits across North America in accordance with the established audit methodology and annual audit plan.

Lead and engage in the activities that provide engagement audit program modifications (if appropriate), complete approved or modified audit program and document (engagement workpapers) audit testing and conclusions to meet audit objectives, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting processes and procedures around critical areas such as Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Change Management, Security, IT Infrastructure, Third-Parties, IT Project Management, Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Business (DR/COB), Data Protection and Privacy, etc. -
Conduct interviews, analyze documents, identify, obtain, and evaluate relevant information & controls to identify areas of improvement and determine business impact. -
Identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations for improvement using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed. -
Anticipate potential barriers, issues, and management concerns and create action plans and recommendations to address these concerns while helping the company make progress. -
Determine which issues should be elevated to the appropriate levels of management to ensure prompt and accurate communication in an effort to influence change. -
Provide objective assurance that the risk management framework is operating effectively. -
Provide value to the organization through assurance that the major business risks are being managed appropriately. -
Provide advisory and consulting services to implement lasting change and sustained improvements around key activities to support the company’s highest priorities. -
Coordinate and conduct special audits, investigations, and/or ad hoc projects with minimal supervision and direction from the IT Audit Manager. -
Advance auditing efficiencies through Computer Assisted Audit Tools and Techniques (CAATTs). -
Incorporate data analytics into the audit engagement, where appropriate. -
Lead and manage internal audits performed by the IT Audit team, as well as co-sourced and outsourced audit engagements. What you bring -
Bachelor Degree from an accredited university; -
Demonstrated experience in similar field or industry, as a corporate IT/Cyber internal auditor; -
Professional audit certification including but not limited to: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ITIL, or similar; -
Proficient in control frameworks, process controls and techniques (COBIT, COSO, ISO, ITIL, SOA, CMM, PMI); -
Proficient in software, desktop applications, distributed platforms, operating systems, database engines, network systems, web-based technology, infrastructure, and IT security tools and techniques; -
Experience in conducting technical audits over specialized functions such as programming, OSS, automation, configuration, diagnostics, systems administration, etc.; -
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Outlook, OneNote, Skype, etc.). -
Experience with audit software (e.g., TeamMate) and advanced data manipulation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, ACL). -
Ability to effectively manage information and communicate at all levels of the organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; -
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and balance workload to complete assignments within time constraints. Demonstrates initiative, innovation, and drive for results. Ability to apply analytical and interpretive skills to problem solving.
