Accounting and Finance Manager

This exempt position reports to the CEO. The Accounting & Finance Mgr. is responsible for maintaining and providing accurate, timely financial information to the CEO and the board of directors. The manager will also be required to create and execute high level company financial strategies.

• Duties
• Maintain general accounting records according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), including month- and year-end processes.
• Oversee team's statistical, financial, accounting and auditing reports.
• Conduct analysis of rates, lead cost of service studies and manage consultants and advisors on projects such as the cost of service study, rate study and design, financial forecast and financial statement audits.
• Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives.
• Prepare or review team's financial statements and reports, forecasts and budgets, while maintaining best practices and internal controls.
• Supervise other accounting positions.
• Create and manage department targets and goals.
