Analyst Programmer (Overseas Fintech Centre)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for analysis, development, testing and technical specification delivery
• Assist project manager to co-ordinate and communicate with various stakeholders effectively in accordance with the project plan
• Support user acceptance testing and system implementation as well as prepare technical documentation
• Co-ordinate with vendors and review vendor deliverables
• Provide production support / application support for in-house systems e.g. training

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years' experience in application development, preferably gained from banking / finance industry
• Sound knowledge in ONE of the following areas:
  1. Proficiency in VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Unix shell scripts and Web Service with proven project implementation experience. Experience in stock,fund,bond,FX, derivatives, investment products would be an advantage
  2. Proficiency in Data Model design, ETL design with excellent programming language of Java/ Python/ Scala, and hands on experience in Big Data Processing including Hadoop/ Hive/ GreenPlum as well as knowledgeable in HBase/ Spark/ Storm/ MR/ Map-Reduce algorithm and tuning method / BI tools like Cognos. Knowledge in data analysis with strong ability in understanding business requirement; Strong ability in data modelling
  3. Excellent programming languages including JavaScript, Java, XML, HTML/CSS, webservice etc. strong knowledge and hand-on experience of various mobile frameworks, e.g. React Native. Proficiency in JEE, Spring, Microservice and DevOps & Agile development. With passion in latest technology, such as RPA , artificial intelligence, blockchain, OpenAPI etc.

• Good team player who is passionate in latest technology trend and eager to learn or develop new skills
• Proactive, independent and able to multi-tasking under pressure
• Excellent language in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Business travel is required
• Fresh graduate with study discipline in Computer Science / Big Data / Artificial Intelligence / Mathematics or related disciplines will also be considered
