Your day.

As a Perinatal Sonographer you need to know how to:

• Operate all of the ultrasound imaging and related equipment.
• Educate, position, immobilize and perform perinatal ultrasound procedures.
• Coordinate perinatal ultrasound examination to ensure timeliness, quality and continuity of patient care.
• Understand and follow provider imaging orders correctly.
• Submit required images and related clinical information for interpretation. Evaluate image quality.
• Utilize, charge, and maintain department supplies.
• Practice sterile technique and follow infection prevention policies.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Associateâ™s Degree from an accredited sonographer program
• Current ARDMS certification in OB-GYN
• Current Nuchal Translucency certification
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association

Preferred:

• Current ARDMS certification in Fetal Echocardiography or willing to become certified in a mutually agreeable period of time after hire
• At least five (5) years of high-risk obstetrics experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine/Perinatology
