In accordance with professional program management methods and principles, the program manager will be responsible for the development and execution of 2 to 3 year strategic plans to support the company's major product or computed based system development programs across multiple global RA sites and partners.
The Program Manager's responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
Responsible for resource capacity requirement planning and coordination of resource allocation between multiple geographical sites, functions areas and partners
Responsible for the timely initiation of all projects associated to the program.
Responsible to monitor and track progress of all projects associated with the program with respective project managers, to ensure timely delivery of new products to the market. Responsible to manage escalation issues and assess health of the program
Provides assessment and updates to Management and Senior Management on progress and health of the program
Manages all scope and requirement changes to the program
Assist in providing performance feedback, staff coaching and skill development planning
Responsible for AOP (Annual Operating Plan), maintenance and tracking
Acts as CPD (Common Product Development) custodian for Project Management discipline.
Support the PMO in enforcing governance on all applicable company policies and procedures.
Provide program management of associated product development projects with minimal direction, requiring planning, resourcing, scheduling, program cost forecasting/monitoring, reporting and providing technical coordination guidance across multiple functional areas.
Ability to manage multiple sites and partners globally
Performs clear and concise reporting and assessment of program progress using established project and program metrics
Provides in depth and advance knowledge in the project management discipline. Responsible for financial, applied technology, & schedule performance of assigned projects within cost limitations & established standards
Proficient in project scheduling tools like Microsoft Projects, Primavera
Demonstrate assertiveness and objectivity at all times
Provide program and project related technical, interpersonal, motivational leadership and performance management of teams including resource allocation, tactical project planning, progress tracking and recognition.
Provides and articulates clear and rationale directions in program execution to all levels in the organization
Develops an effective working relationship within SBU and across RA globally
Uphold and demonstrate professionalism in all program dealings in accordance to PMP "Code of Professional Conduct"
Able to effectively communicate program objectives, risks, issues, business decisions, changes timely and clearly to all program stakeholders
