At HSBC Private Bank, we put our clients at the centre of everything we do. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Client Lifecycle Management Analyst. Principal Responsibilities - To guide Relationship Managers and Client Service Executives in identifying and documenting the information required to satisfy the Bank's Know Your Customer due diligence policies and processes
- Executes and reviews negative media alerts, and performs sanction and Politically Exposed Persons screening
- Check and identify discrepancies between the information held in the customer's documentation and profile on the system
- Review and validate the quality of the due diligence and Know Your Customer information on the bank's customers, in line with HSBC policies at on boarding and periodic reviews
- Work with the Customer Due Diligence Advisor when additional guidance on Customer Due Diligence policy is required
- Drive sustainable growth, identify and act on opportunities to improve efficiency in the workflow
- Makes considered decisions with factual and coherent recommendations, benefits and implications
- Keep colleagues and stakeholders informed, and takes accountability for following through on outstanding issues raised within the Client Lifecycle Management team to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of service
Requirements - Minimum of a Business Administration degree or relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of Anti Money Laundering, regulatory compliance and controls within the banking and financial services industry
- Able to work independently
- Can do and problem solving attitude
- Commercially minded
- Confident communicator
- Experience working in cross functional teams
- Strong teamwork initiative
- Good research and communication skills
- Ability to work professionally with all levels of staff and management
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Internet Explorer
- Strong English fluency and written skills, additional languages welcomed
