We are seeking an innovative Senior Business Process Analyst to support our design and development team and other functions within the eCornell organization. We have a need to leverage metrics across disciplines for strategic insights, primarily related to capacity planning, process improvement, and efficiency. The Senior Business Process Analyst will play a central role in the evaluation and process improvement of the design and development of product, from design to delivery. We are developing infrastructure improvements, making change processes more transparent, and enhancing cross-functional operations to have a unified mission and aligned incentives. *Preference will be given to candidates that are within commuting distance to Ithaca, NY or NYC. However, remote will be considered for candidates, depending on experience and qualifications. What you will do: Collaborate with the management team to provide oversight of all project management processes and systems used for design and development. Collaborate with the management team to design, manage, and advance the metric systems to support analysis of all aspects of organizational performance including productivity, cycle times, on-time delivery, and more. Build upon existing processes to implement a data-driven process improvement cycle. Analyze processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities to improve organizational productivity and improve speed to market. Provide training, consulting, and recommendations for web and administrative systems. Lead the implementation of administration initiatives with a focus on improving processes to reduce administrative burden. Direct the work of the instructional design & creative services teams to achieve full performance levels. Conduct workload analysis and maximal availability, supporting a wide program of development. On all tasks, collaborate extensively with the content design and development team, the IT teams, and administration.
What we need: Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, business acumen, and extensive cross functional collaboration with managers across a design and development organization, IT, finance, and/or executive leadership. Strong analytical skills. Outstanding ability in setting up and improving project management processes and systems. Business process improvement experience. Ability to review complex workflows, make recommendations on improvements, and support leaders in implementing change. Able to quickly pick up and learn new technology platforms with minimal training. Support an inclusive environment. Proven ability to effectively train, guide & advise others.
What we prefer: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics or equivalent experience. Familiarity of higher education information technologies systems. Product management, project management, business analyst, or design experience. Up-to-date on new and emerging technologies. Prefer local to Ithaca but will consider remote depending on experience.
