Minimum Qualifications: • Require Bachelor’s degree earned by date of hire. • Require two years’ experience with alternative format production.
• This position is available to persons who are currently located and authorized to work in the United States on a full-time and indefinite basis. Desired Qualifications: • Master’s Degree • Advanced knowledge and experience creating accessible documents. • Knowledge and experience with Universal Design for Learning. • Experience using an electronic case management system. • Strong communication, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. • Knowledge and experience with computer and assistive technologies; disability practices and procedures. • Knowledge of disability law, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504). • Knowledge and experience with web site design, including basic knowledge of HTML and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently, in a team, and with or without direction. • Customer service skills; including diplomatically, patiently, and successfully handling complaints, problems, questions, conflict, and suggestions. • Accessibility certifications through organizations such as IAAP (International Association of Accessibility Professionals).
