In this role, the OPM will lead projects and activities to support DEI objectives and initiatives, including project management responsibility for the President?s Advisory Committee for Diversity, Equity, and will ensure balance in resource allocation, project prioritization and tracking to predict results and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle. This role will also be responsible for collaborating with campus partners to plan and manage the DEI communications, have budgeting oversight, as well as operational deliverables such as data metric reporting, event management, and committee support.Essential Responsibilities:Program and Project ManagementUnder the direction of the AVP, and in collaboration with the Vice President of Organizational Development and Learning (VP), and the President?s Advisory Committee for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the OPM will create, support and manage the DEI roadmap and project timelines in partnership with key stakeholders and the DEI/OCIE team;Drive and actively report out on deliverables to various partners and project team members, both internal and external;Provide project management support for both new and existing strategic initiatives;Manage, and in some instances serve as facilitator, for DEI projects, internal and external events, and training workshops ;Oversee annual cycle for event management including, promotion, registration and organizing for OCIE related campus and/or virtual events, programming, and workshops;Support various ad-hoc HR/Learning and Development projects as needed; liaise and collaborate with HR business partners on various department and projects goals.Operations and CommunicationsManage OCIE?s website and monthly newsletter, maintain yearly DEI calendar of events and programs;Under the direction of the AVP, contribute to the development, execution, and distribution of the DEI annual reports;Develop, implement, and oversee data dashboards to include appropriate research, preparations, and recommendations; liaise with other campus partners to establish dashboard infrastructure and metrics as required;Prepare relative DEI communications and presentations to broad constituents in the community such as student groups, administrative leadership, Board of Trustees, etc.;Assist with developing and overseeing the department?s budget forecasting and day-to-day budget, expense tracking and invoice processing; manage procurement processes;Assist with overseeing contract and vendor management to include contract documents, payments, expenses;Lead the coordination of calendar and schedule management, meetings and resources with key internal project partners and external vendors;Serve on various institution committees and working groups including, but not limited to, Staff Advisory Council, Operations and Logistics, Colleges of the Fenway Training & Development Task Force, HELIX, THRIVE, and others as needed;Responsible for hiring, training and supervising student workers and/or interns;Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree required; minimum of five years of professional training in human resources, DEI initiatives, project management, business administration or related business/programming experience required;Ability to lead cross-functional projects, as demonstrated by previous experience managing deadlines and deliverables with multiple partners;Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and execute ideas in a rapidly changing environment;Exceptional attention to detail with time management, multitasking and communication skills;Solid ability to operate in a multifaceted workplace and navigate ambiguity; a willingness to embrace change, be a change agent, and to adapt strategies on the fly;Prior professional interactions with racial, ethnic, religious, sexual identity, gender identity, geographical, socioeconomic, accessibility, diversity status and experiences; High level of cultural competence and cultural agility;Ability to leverage various systems and project management tools including excel, power point and word to plan, execute, track, and report on the program;Prior supervisory experience a plus;Ability to work occasional weekends or nights as needed.Required Application Materials:ResumeCover Letter This position is a campus based position that is currently fully remote; open to flexible arrangements on case by case basis.
