Prospect Park Animal Clinic is looking for a full and/or part time veterinarian to join our staff in Park Slope Brooklyn. We are a busy 3-3.5 doctor practice located on Prospect Park West, across the street from the beautiful Prospect Park. The clinic first opened in 1950 making it one of the oldest and most established clinics in Brooklyn. Practice owner Dr. Leonard Silverman has been here since 1983, serving multiple generations of pet owners.
Our clinic is well equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, video endoscopy, oxygen cage, a well equipped pharmacy, and an in house lab among other tools. We provide medical services across the spectrum including wellness care, routine surgical procedures, more advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures, full dental services, and chronic disease management. There is no after-hours or on-call responsibility, and there are 2 emergency and referral clinics within 1.5 miles of the clinic.
The ideal candidate has completed a general medicine and surgery internship or has minimum 2 years working experience though a well qualified new graduate would definitely be considered.
