General Summary/Overview Statement
Mass General Brigham's Enterprise Data and Digital Health (EDDH) initiative is working to expand access to digital tools and technologies that address significant health care challenges. By providing resources and coordinated support, EDDH is helping to take innovative care solutions that have been successful at our academic medical centers and make them available to all institutions across the system. EDDH will advance foundational investments in data, analytics, technology, AI, and machine learning. In addition, as we respond to increasing healthcare market pressures and learn about new opportunities to advance patient care, research, and education, digital health is vital to the future of the system and growth strategies. The EDDH initiative will work to further engage patients in their health care journeys and enable Mass General Brigham's future, providing world-class clinical care with the best possible experience for patients.
To support the EDDH initiative, Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly motivated project specialist to manage the delivery of enterprise-class cloud technology solutions. The candidate will work within the organization's Center for Cloud Enablement, which comprises of a highly-skilled team that architect, administer and support the framework and delivery of cloud-based application platform solutions.
The Cloud Project Specialist will be responsible for delivery of medium to large, complex projects across various organizational teams to provide solutions within our cloud platform environments. This Project Specialist will manage project deliverables, scope, and goals in collaboration with the Center for Cloud Enablement. The candidate will develop, maintain, and manage project plans and associated communications documents; identify and manage project dependencies and critical path work; and plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones. The Project Specialist coordinates resources assigned to tasks on their plans, reviews/evaluates resource work and prepares project status reports to stakeholders.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Project management of solutions for enterprise-class cloud platform environments • Design and develop project plans for Azure technology platform solutions • Determine and regulate project scope • Manage project solutions that align with business requirements and cloud best practices • Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the effective delivery of cloud application platform solutions • Ensure appropriate change management procedures • Provide on-going project status reports
Qualifications • Bachelors degree or equivalent, 5+ years in Information systems • At least 5 years of experience managing technical projects • Extensive experience with meeting facilitation and collaboration • ITIL and/or PMP certification preferred Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required
• Strong commitment to customer service • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to both technical and non-technical staff • Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements • Strong project management skills • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies • Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing project goals • Ability to manage a project, its dependencies, timelines, and to prioritize accordingly • Understanding of Program Management Methodologies
