General Summary:
Reporting to the CCO Operations Manager, the Business Analyst will provide project management, implementation and support on projects for the Central Credentialing Office and the Medical Staff Offices (MSO) across Partners. This individual will work closely with CCO/MSO leadership and other members of Partners Healthcare System to provide data analytics and project management or support utilizing information from the enterprise-wide credentialing system.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Serve as a key collaborator and partner who will participate in/or lead wide-ranging strategic projects by providing data analytics and/or project management. • Support business and planning efforts related to CCO development and enterprise-wide credentialing software implementation across Partners Healthcare entities. • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, development and documentation of project plans, timelines, and evaluation plans. • Utilize enterprise-wide credentialing system to report on and analyze data. Develop and maintain reports, conduct data collection, track, and analyze information stored in enterprise-wide credentialing system • Compile and analyze data from internal and external customers • Receives and completes requests for from internal and external customers of the CCO/MSOs for information utilized to create hospital reports, complete survey responses, develop regulatory reports, and more. • Maintain and apply extensive knowledge of credentialing and privileging processes to appropriately capture dataset required to meet needs of requestor. • Coordinates with Partners IS support team for complex data requests. • Work with the entity Medical Staff Offices (MSO) and/or Provider Enrollment staff to develop, maintain, and submit provider information and rosters as required for delegation with health plans. • Provide project support for regulatory and delegated credentialing audits of provider files. Manage audit process during "peak" season and/or as requested. • Serves as NPDB Administrator for CCO and manages the continuous query process for Partners entities. • Collaborate with the CCO and Medical Staff Offices on credentialing, privileging and other practitioner issues related to project management. • Assumes role as a team member, technical resource or process facilitator on CCO and MSO project teams. • Develop, execute and present periodic reports as well as ongoing performance reports to update CCO Leadership and/or other Partners Healthcare entity representatives • Ensure project scope and requirements are achieved in a timely manner and within guidelines. • Represent the CCO at various meetings, including internal and external committees or task forces. • Provides ad hoc reports to entity departments as requested. • Deal with projects and issues that are significant, sensitive, political and confidential in nature. • Special projects at the discretion of Executive Director of Partners CCO to support CCO operations and the leadership team. All other duties as needed and requested by the Executive Director of Partners CCO.
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience; direct experience in the healthcare field preferred but not required • Experience with data collection, analysis, financial modeling, and report formatting, as well as oral and written presentation of analysis • Demonstrated project management experience. • Understanding of provider credentialing processes, a plus. • Exceptional judgment and discretion in interacting with physicians and senior management on sensitive political and confidential issues and initiatives.

Working Conditions:
