- That prefers to work for a smaller firm, where you can be involved in every aspect of designing and building high-end, multi-million dollar homes from beginning to end
REQUIREMENTS - Professional accredited degree in Architecture (M.Arch or B.Arch)
- Some experience with residential design preferred, and puts you on the top of our list
- Experience with drafting and putting together complete construction document sets
- Experience with code review and permitting preferred
For over 35 years, the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Alan Madewell & Associates, Inc has specialized in creating high-end residential architecture and interior design. Our projects span across the U.S., with diverse styles and robust budgets ranging anywhere from $3 million to $16 million dollars. We occasionally design commercial projects, but the vast majority of our work—and our real passion—is exciting residential architecture. We are seeking a professional associate to grow into the role of Project Manager who will manage all aspects of their given projects: - Work with the principal on preliminary design to deliver sketches, renderings, and preliminary plans
- Translate preliminary plans and elevations into working drawings through design development
- Coordinate with consultants (structural engineers, landscape architects, etc.) to cover all aspects of a project
- Manage project material selections and specifications
- Complete construction document sets that are clear and concise for permitting and pricing
- Work with contractors hands-on, at-site, to answer questions and provide additional details
- Design cabinetry and trim work throughout the project
- Organize project documents and be the point of contact on the project

- Skilled with organizing and managing project documentation
- Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, and adapt quickly to multiple projects
- Some AutoCAD and Revit exposure
- Ability to create clear and concise drawings with an understanding of line weights and drafting conventions
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to use Photoshop, Sketchup, and other design software as needed
- A keen mind and the ability to seek information and learn quickly
EXPERIENCE - 1-5 years previous architectural firm experience preferred but not required
