Key Roles This position is a supervisory position responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of support programs to provide data and services to Engineering & Construction, Production, and Transmission needed to enhance the performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness of EKPC’s generation and transmission assets, and the execution of the construction portfolio. Key Responsibilities • Responsible for integrity of CMMS EAM development and implementation at all stations. • CMMS EAM Data Owner – responsible for integrity of production asset data. • Responsible for OPPM technical support and assistance with development. • Oversees the CMMS EAM in-house user group mission, goals and objectives, and progress. • Selects and/or provides consistent and pertinent training for the Technical Applications Team. • Audits CMMS data and system performance to ensure data quality and effective use of data. • Recommends, develops, and manages implementations for system enhancements, software upgrades, and new software installation. • Acts as liaison for Engineering & Construction, Production, and Transmission to IT concerning CMMS EAM, OPPM, and other application system problems. Coordinates involvement as necessary. • Writes or oversees the writing of functional specifications for modifications and configuration. • Responsible for testing and debugging all modifications before moving to production environment. • Manages software issues priority, submits modifications and service requests, and oversees timely, effective response. • Responsible for leading standardized plant compliance. Holds monthly compliance meeting with coordinators (not limited to NERC/SERC). Participates in NERC/SERC audits. Recommends and/or implements improvements. • Works with other departments and business units on CMMS EAM, OPPM and other applications related matters – communicates modifications and configuration changes. • Responsible for asset management data in CMMS and related customer support. • Improves asset data and expands usefulness. Adds and removes assets from service and finds/performs asset data corrections as necessary. • Responsible for establishing CMMS EAM role assignment and security access. • Works with P6 Supervisor Scheduling Services to ensure adequate and accurate CMMS data is provided for P6 Scheduling and is continuously updated to reflect scheduling changes such as additional and modified work tasks. • Responsible for achieving fleet-wide consistency for meaningful metrics and appropriate programs. • Responsible for any software/data interface related to project scheduling (downloads and potential future CMMS or OPPM interlink). • Works with P6 Supervisor Scheduling Services to confirm the interface between project/outage planning and critical path management scheduling support. • Coordinates the performance management process for team members and provides performance feedback for the goal of maximizing performance. • Oversees WO audits and participates with production management to evaluate and determine resulting actions. • Oversees and performs analysis on predictive maintenance program results and develops new program ideas to propose to production. • Identifies, plans, and implements enhancements to current applications, new applications, and integrations that will serve to enhance performance and data fluidity for Engineering & Construction, Production, and Transmission. • Stays abreast of new developments in maintenance management tools and techniques. • Presents, on an as needed basis, technical programs and presentations for varied audiences. • Develops department budgets, contributes to production work plans and budgeting data fleet wide. • Serves production engineers and system owners to support their needs and objectives related to asset health and performance management. • Provides leadership and maintains overall authority and accountability for the team. • Hires, trains, and develops staff to ensure adequate resources are available to effectively support objectives stated in position summary. Effectively manages employee performance and compensation in accordance with Corporate Policy. • Develops and manages department budgets to goals and performance standards. • Supports, participates in, and provides leadership in sustaining and strengthening EKPC’s safety culture and corporate mission. • Manages, measures performance, and develops the individual skills of directs reports to achieve the goals of the department. • Performs other duties as assigned. |
