The Department of Sustainability and Energy Management (SEM) brings an integrated and deliberate focus to campus sustainability. The department works to advance sustainability in campus operations, optimizing and prioritizing efficiency in all aspects of campus life, from resource and utility management, to transportation and community behavior. SEM develops strategic, long-term goals that help reduce Stanford's environmental impact, supporting the university's commitment to be a good environmental steward. The Office of Sustainability and Business Services seeks an experienced and committed outreach professional to manage the outreach, education and training components of the Office's sustainability programs and services designed for Stanford campus. Within the framework of the strategic work portfolio for sustainability at Stanford https://sustainable.stanford.edu/about/areas-work, this position will advance outreach and educational aspects of Office of Sustainability and Sustainable Stanford programs via digital and print multimedia content. The ideal candidate will come from a communications and media management background with proven industry work experience in program design, delivery, and customer communication. The incumbent must be self-directed, have a suite of creative skills, proven work portfolio and collaboration skills. The position will have one dedicated staff and various vendor contacts to manage.
