PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS The role requires a candidate that can learn quickly, think clearly, provide positive influence throughout the organization, and will thrive in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment. Candidates should bring 10-15+ years of experience in a high growth business development and management function, including successful managerial and leadership roles in respected companies known for being successful in their industry. - Experience as a general manager or leader of a business unit in a recurring revenue technology-oriented business.
- Renewable energy, environmental commodities and/or financial technology industry experience is a plus.
- Track record of successfully scaling business units organically and inorganically.
- Demonstration and history of growing and building teams of people from single digit to double digit headcount is important.
- Natural leadership style of being transparent and promptly communicating with all stakeholders.
- Broad experience presenting to, interacting with, and influencing C-level and Board level executives.
- Openness to a mission-orientated, fast-paced, for-profit growth organization.
- Direct communicator who thrives in a collaborative organization.
- Data-driven decision-making process that can be effectively articulated to others.
- Systematic thinker with the ability to put processes in place to allow the business to scale.
- Desire and ability to apply experience, critical thinking, problem-solving and the highest standards of personal and professional integrity in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
