The Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine invites applications for a 100% open rank non-tenure clinical or tenure track Breast Imaging faculty position within the Department of Radiology. This position will join our growing Breast Imaging Division. Applicants must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology and have four years of post-training in Radiology. Experience working with Breast Imaging curriculum is desired. About the Department of Radiology: The Radiology Department includes thirty-seven staff physicians, fourteen fellows, fifteen Ph.D. researchers, and thirty-six residents. The Breast Imaging and Intervention Center offers a comprehensive evaluation of patients with breast diseases and symptoms using the most advanced technologies and techniques including: - Digital mammography
- State of the art tomosynthesis mammography
- Breast ultrasound
- Magnetic resonance imaging
- Percutaneous biopsy, including stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guidance
The breast Imaging and Intervention Center is fully accredited by the Iowa State Department of Public Health and the American College of Radiology.
