Office of Research is looking for a Temporary Research Technician who will join a team to support surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 at Syracuse University. Majority of the work will involve SARS-CoV-2 analysis in saliva samples using Real-Time PCR method, collect the data and communicate results to the Project Manager and personnel at SU so appropriate steps can be taken to develop strategies to control the spread of the virus and keep campus community safe.
Work will also involve tracking the inventory of reagents and supplies for the project, equipment maintenance, and general upkeep of the lab. In addition, the Project Manager may assign any additional scheduled or ad hoc duties.
