Design contracting initiatives and implements business processes to support the system wide contracting and sourcing. Oversees the creation of standardized methodologies for contract management, sourcing, financial analysis and reporting. Oversees and implements vendor conflicts standards and financial thresholds for contracting. Directs and drives a value analysis program and clinical resource utilization for all cardiac and surgical services throughout the system. Shares responsibility for new product introduction, evaluation and transparency with the Corporate Director of Supply Chain Management.
Masters Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred.
Minimum 10 years of health care supply chain experience required, with particular emphasis in contracting and sourcing health care goods and services. Proficiency in the use of ERP procurement and supply chain operations. Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills. Excellent writing skills. Ability to understand complex organizational relationships. Independent worker. Detail-orientated. Project management skills. Strong analytical thinking. Must display excellent business presence and must possess ability for independent thinking, excellent business acumen, common sense and good judgment.
