Responsible for managing and developing multiple teams of mortgage sales consultants in a centralized telephone sales environment, ensuring that production goals and customer needs are met while generating quality loans compliant with company policy and procedure. Provides guidance, support and oversight to supervisors in order to achieve performance targets and objectives. Duties include any or all of the following: coaching and developing supervisors; coordinating and building relationships with business partners; developing sales and referral skills; maintaining adequate staffing level to meet goals; developing plans to manage retention and recruiting effectiveness; ensuring that regulatory licensure and continuing education requirements are met; identifying and managing risk; communicating company policy, procedures, and practices. Primary focus is on day-to-day operational execution, although role will also include contributing to strategic planning within area of expertise. This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations.
