It all begins with you. The Chief Operating Office includes core operations functions for each of the lines of business under leaders who have joint reporting relationships. Including Front Line Control for each of the lines of business and enterprise functions, Strategy and Operations Planning, Sales Practices Oversight and Management, Enterprise Shared Services, Strategic Execution & Operations, Corporate Properties Group, Business Continuity and Resiliency, Enterprise Customer Excellence, Supply Chain Management and Chief Administrative Office. Operations Control is a new team that will be the front line group within Operations accountable for assessing and ensuring the effective management of associated risks for Operations groups across the Enterprise. This team counsels group leadership on the Operations risk portfolio which includes issue management, remediation and regulatory interactions and facilitates strong cooperation between operations, independent risk management and Audit. The Business Support Consultant role is within the Operations Control Business Mgmt & Governance team, which is responsible for business management, governance, strategy and transformation, and risk initiatives. - Coordinates risk and control governance for Operations.
- Assists with relevant risk and control business review and committees to include scheduling, preparing material, ensuring attendance, etc.
- Help prepare senior leadership to attend non-Operations Control owned risk and control business reviews and committees.
- Assist in building business routines and governance infrastructure to ensure adequate decision making, escalation, and discussion related to key risk and control topics; routines will tailored to facilitate horizontal views of risk across the organization.
- Coordinates with enterprise teams to manage expenses, perform business continuity planning, and perform staffing adequacy planning.
- Assists in developing executive level presentations, including committee and meeting materials for enterprise wide Risk and Control Committees and forums where Head of Operations or Control Executive is a participant.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Other Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years finance and expense management experience
- Experience in enterprise function where cross-LOB interaction and decision making is required.
- Experience and understanding of control functions
- Ability to prioritize, execute and deliver projects on time
- Ability to lead and operate collaboratively, execution focused, and results oriented
Job Expectations
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
