Position Summary: Overview: Department of Marketing at Rutgers Business School is committed to providing quality education in the field of marketing for both graduate and undergraduate students at Rutgers University. We are in search of qualified Part-Time Instructors who can contribute to the school’s broad educational mission and connect our classrooms to the best practice of the industry. Summary: Department of Marketing, Rutgers Business School-Newark and New Brunswick invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the graduate and undergraduate programs during the Spring 2021 term (January 19 – May 12, 2021). Successful applicants will instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses on a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to Introduction to Marketing, Marketing Research, Digital Marketing, Social Media and Mobile Marketing, Web Analytics, Brand Management, Advertising, B2B Marketing, and Marketing Strategy. Instructors report directly to the Chair of the Marketing Department, and are expected to attend orientation, prepare and submit course syllabi, provide timely student feedback, respond to student emails, and adhere to grade submission policies and deadlines. Course appointments are on the Newark or New Brunswick campuses as well as Rutgers off-campus site located at Count College of Morris. Minimum Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Business or in a related field required. Doctorate preferred. Demonstrate ability to teach at the university level. Applicants with comparable degrees from accredited institutions may also be considered. Prior teaching experience is also preferred.
