The Development & Stewardship Manager supports the success and growth of the Development Department’s fundraising goals through a strategic donor acquisition, renewal and upgrade program. In addition to providing critical support to the Major Gift program ($5,000+), the Development & Stewardship Manager is responsible for administering and growing the Friends of Artis—Naples ($75 - $1,599) and Annual Fund ($1,600 - $4,999) giving levels. This position requires a highly motivated individual with the desire to work in a fast-paced environment, a high level of professionalism and attention to detail and analytics, and the drive to achieve mutually agreed upon goals.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, non-profit or arts management required.
Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in Annual Fund and/or membership fundraising, or as an integrating marketing professional with revenue generation responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to conceive and implement strategies that resulted in sustained long-term growth in annual support.
Progressive growth and consistent achievement of goals.
High energy, sense of humor and grace under pressure.
Knowledge of and/or interest in music and both the visual and performing arts preferred.
