Under minimal supervision, works with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) assisting in the completion of projects in support of Denver Health's financial and operational strategic initiatives.
1.Obtains and collects data pertinent for measuring the operational and financial success of the initiatives sponsored by the CAO.
2.Creates custom reports using Epic's reporting workbench and SlicerDicer tools, as well as Excel Cubes and SQL queries within the Caboodle database.
3.Aggregates and analyzes large datasets to identify trends and opportunities, test hypotheses, or draw conclusions that inform recommendations for leadership throughout the hospital.
4.Responsible for managing and progressing various projects as assigned by the CAO.
5.Other duties as assigned.

* Exceptional ability to gather, understand and utilize data to inform decisions and make recommendations. * Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to compile, categorize, calculate, audit, and/or verify data. * Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage several projects simultaneously while remaining flexible with changing priorities. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to accomplish goals. * Excellent communication skills and ability to summarize detailed information in an organized, concise manner. * Strong ability and comfort in presenting data, recommendations and proposals to a wide variety of audiences and levels of leadership (both written and verbally). * Exceptionally strong knowledge, experience and acumen for Toyota Production System philosophy, culture change. Data-driven decision making and leadership management style is highly preferred.
Knowledge of navigating Epic databases preferred.
Advanced in Microsoft Excel.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Access software.
Proficient in Epic reporting tools preferred.
Proficient in SQL preferred.
* Bachelor's Degree (Required) Concentration in business administration, finance, health care or economics preferred.
* Five years in data analytics, process improvement or project management required.
