About the role
The Design Thinking (DT) lead at Wells Fargo India & Philippines is responsible to drive the culture and build curiosity towards human-centered Design within the organization by
Creating and sharing (familiarization session) byte sized info/recipes/framework usable and relevant to internal Team Members.
Driving Design-led small/medium/large engagements using Design Thinking techniques, such as empathy maps, customer journey maps, ethnography, facilitation and ideation to solve complex problems and design challenges that drive meaningful transformation across the organization.
Leading the Design Thinking community of practice and act as a thought partner and coach for the COP.
Working in collaboration with Process engineering teams and intelligent automation teams to identify and drive/enable DT opportunities.
Uses human-centered design techniques to discover and understand new and unarticulated user needs
Applies a user experience lens to opportunities for improving enterprise processes, enterprise applications, and end-user products
Guides product/process/applications/service teams through design thinking exercises to create or improve their offering
Helps teams quickly build prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs)
Crafts and communicates a compelling narrative to demonstrate the value of design thinking to teams across the broader enterprise
Facilitates workshops to help leaders and Team Members understand and apply design thinking techniques and principles to their work
Develops and standardizes an ideation and design thinking toolkit that can be applied across organization (WFIP) to build a common language of DT in the organization
Liaison with vendor partners (Design) to drive engagements where external support is needed
Support integration of Design Thinking with other preferred enterprise methodology- Lean six Sigma/Agile/Systems Thinking
Market Skills and Certifications
10-15 years of experience in Design, Design/Business Consulting, Usability Research, Education, or Anthropology.
Demonstrated experience using various project management methodologies
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
Degree in human-centered design, human-computer interaction, technology, psychology, anthropology or related fields; design-thinking certification preferred
