Wholesale Technologies supports various applications for the Wholesale line of businesses. The teams are spread across various locations including EGS. Team member will be working from any of the EGS India work locations. The technology team has various applications based on Microsoft, Java, DWH, Etc.,
About the Role
The project requires an experienced Scrum Master who will be responsible to manage multiple Agile Scrum teams located in multiple geographies each having 15 - 20 team members ranging from PO, UX, UI Dev, Backend Dev, QA etc. This role is for of wholesale Capital Finance applications
Strongly serving the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers
Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers and how to get the most out of self-organization.
Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile.
Conduct various Scrum/Agile ceremonies (Grooming, Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Retrospective etc.) at the set frequency
Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning or dictating the work. Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
Should be able to build good rapport with various Project stakeholders (QA, Scrum Master, Project Manager etc.) and other interface developers both in US and EGS.
First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM )
Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a Scrum team.
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to work directly with US partner teams
Should be willing to work in shifts to provide better overlap with the US partner team & EGS teams
Expect independent decision making on strategic solutions, be proactive and drive projects to completion.
Second or Third level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC)
Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)
