Seeking a full or part time equine veterinarian to join our private practice in the growing agriculture community of Queen Creek, Arizona. Desert Mountain Equine is an independently owned, well established equine practice. Our town is located 45 minutes southeast of Phoenix, surrounded by hiking trails, nearby lakes, and National Parks.
Our services include ambulatory and clinical care which encompasses general medicine with digital radiology, ultrasound, dentistry, ophthalmology, and endoscopy. A large portion of our practice revolves around lameness and medicine for the sport horse which allows us to utilize regenerative therapies such as; iRap, PrP, ProStride, and Stem Cell.
-Energetic personality that fits well with a team approach.
-Must have (or obtain) an AZ veterinary license, USDA accreditation for AZ and a valid driver’s license.
-Capable of independently performing wellness exams, dentistry, lameness diagnostics, and emergency services.
-Qualified, confident internship-trained doctors will be considered.
-Flexible schedule for after-hours and on-call responsibilities.
-Ability to comfortably work with horses that range from backyard pets to high performance athletes.
-Two years’ experience working as an equine veterinarian.
-Experience in reproductive medicine.
-Background in equine sports medicine and emergency services.
Additional Salary Information: Competitive pay commensurate with experience and will consist of base salary with the opportunity to make commission.
