The Jackson Clinic, P.A. is a multispecialty group with over 100 physicians and 50 APPs.
Provide audiologic test services to pediatric and adult patients including the following range of patient-related services:
Audiometric evaluations including impedance testing
Puretone air & bone conduction testing; speech audiometry; soundfield audiometry; impedance testing; PB rollover testing; perform Stenger test
Hearing aid dispensing
Perform hearing aid evaluations including MCLs and UCLs; be familiar with fitting Analog, programmable and digital hearing aid systems; be familiar with ordering amplifications systems; perform hearing aid verification measurement procedures such as aided soundfield measurements and Real Ear measurements; provide hearing aid repair services to patients; perform hearing aid test box measurements
Auditory Brainstem Response testing (ABR)
Perform ABR tests on patients referred by ENT for purpose of ruling out retrocochlear problems; perform ABR testing when referred newborns, children, difficult to test adults for the purpose of determining hearing threshold levels
Electronystagmography (ENG) evaluations
Perform ENG tests on patients referred by ENT including calibration, saccade testing, gaze testing, optokinetic testing, tracking tests, positional testing, Hall Pike Maneuver, caloric testing
Neonatal hearing screenings with Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions (DPOAE)
Provide newborn hearing screenings both at hospital nursery (NICU) and in-house; perform hearing screenings on difficult to test children and adults, perform DPOAE on patients with normal hearing but with tinnitus complaints; perform DPOAE on patients referred by physicians who are taking ototoxic medications
Industrial audiology services
Provide baseline and annual hearing test services for local industries; perform comprehensive assessments on referred employees with significant threshold shift concerns (STS)
Educate patients on hearing loss & treatment options
Hearing aid counseling, sales, and service/repairs
Offer exceptional customer service to our patients
Master’s degree in Audiology
Certification by ASHA-CCC-A or certification by the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA)
Tennessee State License for Audiology and hearing aid dispensing
Doctoral degree in Audiology (AuD)
