We are a full-service small animal hospital offering preventative and wellness care, routine medical care, internal medicine, and surgical care to dogs, cats, exotics, pocket pets, and wildlife. Responsibilities for this position may include: - Assisting DVM’s with physical examinations and surgeries
- Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
- Pre and post-surgical patient care
- Calculating, administering, and documenting the use of therapeutic drugs
- Managing nursing care and treatments of hospitalized patients
- Emergency triage
- Performing dental care
- Digital radiographs and positioning of patients
- Medical records documentation
- Monitoring, ordering, and inventory of medical supplies
- Providing client education
- Direct and mentor junior staff and vet assistants as needed
