We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and target driven Market Manager to drive and support student recruitment from Onshore and EU based agents into our Pathways Colleges and University partners across the UK, USA and Australia.
The post holder will be also responsible for the development and management of new student recruitment channels, working with educational institutions in the EU and UK.
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will have a strong understanding of international recruitment within the education sector and you will be able to demonstrate an awareness of at least one major overseas market. You will have excellent organizational skills and will be a self-starter with experience of working internationally
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the EU Market to form an effective strategy
Promoting Kaplan Pathways on an on-going basis to generate new leads from our Onshore agents that recruit students from MENA Region
Ensuring all partner agents in the EU and the UK are given comprehensive training and have full and complete knowledge of all USA and UK partner universities.
Liaising effectively across the Kaplan internal network, partner universities and with key recruitment agents and educational bodies overseas
Driving student recruitment to achieve challenging targets for UK, US and Australia products in line with compliance requirements
Delivering outstanding levels of customer service
Travelling across your respective regions (EU and MENA) for up to 12 weeks per year
Any other activities as determined by the Regional Manager
Key Performance Indicators
Achievement of set market targets across products and multiple destinations
Number of successfully on-boarded EU agents that are sending students to our programmes in the UK and USA
Maintenance of high level of service to all stakeholders in the UK and EU
Conversion rates from application to enrolment for students coming from all channels
Skills & Experience
Background in and passion for international education sales
Strong organisational and planning skills, self-motivated and committed to achieving organisational goals.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills, across a wide range of audiences
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility with working hours including working over weekends when required
Ability to prioritise and plan work effectively on tight deadlines, under pressure and with competing priorities
The ability to identify and manage risk and knowing when to escalate areas of risk where applicable
Experience working within the student recruitments from the EU Region
Experience working within the student recruitments from the MENA Region
Experience working within the international education sales to the USA universities
Fluent in Arabic
