The PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency Program is one of ten residency programs that add to the legacy and tradition of excellence in the field of pharmacy education at the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. This psychiatric pharmacy residency has been developed with a unique focus in academia alongside psychiatric medicine. The practice site rotations will be completed at the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and through Vanderbilt Behavioral Health (at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital) in Nashville, Tennessee.
The goal of the PGY2 Residency in Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice will be to offer training and education for pharmacists and prepare them to become clinical practitioners and leaders in this field.
