The US & Canada Institutional Client Business (USCA ICB) creates and delivers investment solutions for institutional clients and consultants throughout the region. As North America's largest Institutional Manager, USCA ICB is a team of world class relationship management, client service and marketing professionals dedicated to serving institutional clients, including pension funds, foundations, endowments, insurers, and family offices. USCA ICB represents approximately 30% of BlackRock's overall assets under management with $1.97 trillion as of June 30, 2019. The firm more broadly with over USD $6 trillion of assets has an extraordinary responsibility: our technology and services empower millions of investors to save for retirement, pay for college, buy a home, and improve their financial well-being.
Write and develop content-rich speeches, talking points, correspondence, and other external communications for ICB's business head. This content will be featured at third party industry conferences, proprietary events, and 1:1 client meetings
Work with key partners in ICB and investment teams to identify and generate insightful thought leadership targeted at each of ICB's key client segments
Develop a robust calendar of client segment-specific thought leadership. Partner with marketing to ensure these insights are profiled in BlackRock events and digital platforms.
Understand and analyze key client trends, including growth opportunities for ICB.
Lead special projects representing our business lead, particularly those related to strategic issues, organizational activities and external client matters.
Embrace new opportunities to contribute to ad hoc strategic projects.
3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
Ability to manage his/ her own workload, multi-task, balance multiple and conflicting priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt writing to fit a wide range of audiences, including clients, employees, and senior executives.
Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy, and strong organization skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong, credible business relationships at all levels and be regarded as a trusted partner to the head of the Institutional Business.
Collaborative team player dedicated to producing consistent, high quality work.
Technically proficient and digitally savvy.
